Haul, TBR & Wrap Up

MY MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASES

Here are my most anticipated releases coming out in the month of October. The books are in no particular order. All these books are available for pre-order on Amazon.

  1. WARCROSS, MARIE LUThis title will be released around October 11, 2017.
This is the first time I will be reading a Marie Lu book. I have heard really great things about her other series(Especially the legend series). A lot of booktubers who have read this, seem to like it. They say it is definitely action packed. I like to read books without knowing much about them. All I know about this book is, there is a game called warcross and a girl tries to hack it. Later she gets a call from the game’s creator, with an irresistible offer. While she is working for him she uncovers a sinister plot, with major consequences for the entire Warcross empire.
I’m really excited to read this one.

  2. TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN, JOHN GREEN – This title will be released around October 10, 2017.
John Green is one of my favourite authors. TFIOS is one of my all time favourite books. So when I heard there is a new book releasing, I ordered it. This is Aza’s story. A story about friendship and reunion. I do not know much about it, but I’m eagerly waiting to read it.

Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.
Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

  3. ORIGIN, DAN BROWN – This title will be released around October 3, 2017.
This is the 5th book in Robert Langdon series. In this book, Robert Langdon goes to to attend a major announcement that will change the face of science. This is hosted by Edmond Kirsch, who was one of Langdon’s first students at Harvard . He reveals a breakthrough that will answer two of the fundamental questions of human existence. Things happen at the conference, Langdon is forced to escape Bilbao and  he flees to Barcelona on a quest to locate a password that will unlock Kirsch’s secret. I’m sure this is going to be a fast-paced and action packed read.

  4. THE DISAPPEARANCES, EMILY BAIN MURPHY – This title will be released around October 4, 2017.
This book is full of mystery, magic and secrets. I’m intrigued.

Every seven years something disappears in the remote town of Sterling: people’s reflections, the stars in the sky, the ability to dream. Aila realises that her mother may be to blame for the curse. But some mysteries are buried very deep and some secrets want to stay hidden – and one young woman’s desire to uncover the truth may not be enough to save Sterling from the past.

  5. WONDER WOMAN, LEIGH BARDUGO – This title will be released around October 4, 2017.
I never really knew anything about wonder woman till I watched the movie. The movie changed everything for me. I fell in love with her. I have always enjoyed reading about strong female characters in books. And I LOVE Leigh Bardugo’s writing. That’s like cherry on the cake. I have heard that the mythological origin of the wonder woman is slightly different from the movie, but I’m not really sure. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one.
