MY TAKE:

Did you know extra virgin oil fights against proteins that are toxic to the brain and that include Alzheimer’s? Did you know coconut helps fight bad bacteria? Broccoli is said to even prevent and fight cancer. A diet filled with green leafy vegetables protects us from various heart related problems. She talks about a lot of other ingredients like almonds, walnut, beetroot, avocado, poultry, salmon, egg yolk, etc. She not only mentions the various health benefits that each of these have, but also suggests few lip-smacking simple recipes using these ingredients. Most of the recipes are easy and can be done within 15-20 mins max. She has also included pictures for some recipes that tempt you to try them out as soon as possible.

MasterChef India @shiprakhanna brings to us recipes that help strengthening both our mind and memory. What I love about this book is that the ingredients used can be found in our kitchen. If one of your goals for 2018 is to eat healthy and nutritious food then this is the perfect guide for you. Since I’m a vegetarian I didn’t try everything, but if you don’t have any restrictions you should definitely try all the recipes. I highly recommend it.
